I have lag using the TV as my laptop external monitor via hdmi. The laptop is Asus Pro P1440. Previous experience using an i7 gen 7 Spectre showed not noticeable lag, so naturally I blamed the laptop.
I stumbled upon a menu in the TV picture mode: game mode and tried it with the laptop, Currently the lag is gone and I'm having a great time using the TV as a 3rd monitor. I'm also hooking an Dell P2419H monitor as a second monitor. It is bliss. I fire up Word and Mendeley to continue writing my dissertation.
And then I blanked again :D There's just no excuse for procrastinators.
