Chrome Can't Update


I was a little annoyed when looking at my About section in Chrome.

It said, "Sync is disabled by your administrator." What gives? I don't know what happened.

Anyway, if this is your computer and you are the Admin, just do this.






  • Open Regedit.
  • Go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\
  • Double-click at the UpdateDefault or DefaultUpdate
  • And type 0 to 1

That should do it.
